GetOnit, Aussiewide and Cairns Net are now under the new ownership of the "All Hours Communications Group" already well known in far North Queensland and will be amalgamated under the "AussieWide" banner. This will allow us to provide an even higher level of service and innovation for you! Not the least of these changes will be the ability for our customers to take advantage of our "AussieWide plus" program which entails a 24 hour a day 7 day a week support program and other value-added services available optionally, allowing you to choose a service tailored to your needs. We have already implemented upgrades and improvements and plan on further changes and upgrades throughout May and June 2008. As you read this we have already negotiated and implemented a substantial increase in our external bandwidth through various sources and increased our layer 2 and layer 3 traffic available through our current wholesalers. We have also retained new staff in major data centres so as to be able to improve response times for any issues that may arise outside of the North Queensland area. The new owners are currently fully evaluating our customer services, plans and resources and formulating all the best upgrades that may be requested as options and the high level standard services for all users that will be provided. Look for future updates from us soon clarifying EXACTLY what you will receive as an AussieWide customer and the options available to improve your customer experience. As recently as Sept 2008
the AHC ISP acquisition is still progressing well, with the acquisition of
Overflow Internet.
Overflow Internet is the Beaudesert Shire's largest locally operated ISP,
offering both Broadband and Dialup Access to all residents of the shire.
AHC acquisition of Overflow to their growing portfolio of rural isp's is giving
AHC greater market share, which means benefits it customers as it increases is
buying power and dominance in the market.
